- Standard Tuning and/or Pitch Adjustment
$175.00
A standard tuning or pitch adjustment (aka a pitch raise) can take anywhere in between 1.5 & 2.5 hours depending on your piano's current pitch setting. In either case, the current rate applies to both scenarios.
- Repairs & Partial Regulation
$140.00/hr
There is no charge for quick repairs or minor adjustments such as removing objects, adjusting a few sluggish keys or tightening a handful of screws. Any significant repairs will be brought to your attention with estimated charges before proceeding with the work involved.
- Complete Regulation
$675.00 (for grand pianos)
$575.00 (for vertical pianos)
Regulation is best described as adjusting (or calibrating) action parts to their preferred factory settings. The main purpose of regulation is to achieve the most desirable touch for the pianist's feel and to optimize your piano's performance. This is usually and all-day process. Grand pianos typically take more time and effort in completing a full regulation than vertical pianos. Service includes full interior cleaning!
- Soundboard Cleaning
$150.00 (for grand pianos 6 ft & over)
$125.00 (for grand pianos under 6 ft)
From baby grands to concert grands, precision cleaning tools are used to get in between the piano strings in order to clean the soundboard safely and effectively. The time can take up to one hour or slightly more depending on your piano's dimensions.
- Piano Life-Saver Humidity Control System Installation
$780.00 - (includes shipping, parts, labor and follow-up tuning 4-6 weeks after piano has settled with the newly installed system).
- Onsite Piano Evaluation
$140.00
Interested in a free or used piano but feeling hesitant? No worries! I'd be happy to schedule an appointment onsite with the current owner and provide a thorough inspection in order to make that decision easier.
